We’re looking for a lawyer to join our team at Apogee Legal, a fast growing law firm based in beautiful Whakatane.

Living in Whakatane offers a way of life you usually have to wait for the weekend to enjoy. New Zealand’s favourite beach, Ohope, is a few minutes’ drive from work, native bush trails are a short walk away, and the river flows right by our offices. If you’re the type who’s always dreamed of having the room to really spread out, rural living is on your doorstep.

There’s also the simple ease of living in a place that’s uncrowded and where you have more time for doing the things you really love. But living here doesn’t mean you have to miss out - Whakatane also has a fantastic and diverse local food scene, plus a range of farmers markets, festivals and community events to get into.

We’re an hour’s drive from Mount Maunganui and Rotorua, its trails and lakes. Moving here should come with just one warning – get ready for a LOT of visitors.

We’re looking for someone who is on-to-it, insightful and relatable, and who genuinely enjoys helping clients reach their goals.

You’ll be given the independence to manage your own work, but also have our small, highly experienced team to collaborate with.
