I’m proud to be a born and raised Eastern Bay local. I grew up in Whakatāne, before heading to the University of Waikato to study law in 2017. I graduated in 2020, then returned to the Eastern Bay where I began my career with a local law firm, working out of Ōpōtiki.

Something that I really enjoy about my work as a lawyer is helping people to achieve their goals, big or small. I especially enjoy when that involves helping first home buyers. Being able to call a client and let them know that they officially own a home is so rewarding, because I know how hard they have worked to get there.

I make every effort to make my clients feel comfortable and at ease. I know a lot of people can be anxious when dealing with lawyers, so I really try to make sure that they clearly understand what’s happening and when, which then helps them to relax and trust the process.

At Apogee Legal I specialise in conveyancing and all things to do with property, and also support our clients with trust work and estate planning.

Away from the office, I love to make the most of the amazing lifestyle we have here in Whakatāne - spending time at the beach, walking the trails, and relaxing with family and friends at my favourite cafes.
