What you need to know about Contracting Out Agreements
If you do not want the equal sharing provisions of the Property (Relationships) Act to apply to you, you will need to make a legal agreement contracting out of it. The correct legal name for this document is a “Contracting Out Agreement”, but it’s also often referred to as a relationship property agreement or “pre-nup” agreement.
